As a founding member and CFO of NPCI, UIDAI, and Paytm Payments Bank, he spearheaded initiatives such as UPI, RuPay, and Fastag, revolutionizing digital payments and democratizing financial services nationwide. His work has empowered remote communities, streamlined financial processes, and driven population-scale projects—including Aadhaar, Jan Dhan Yojana, Pulse Polio eradication—impacting over a billion lives. Sanjay’s expertise extends to the MSME sector, where he advises to the MSME Udhyam initiative, actively supporting the growth and digital transformation of micro, small, and medium enterprises. He has contributed to building digital public infrastructure that fosters innovation and inclusion within India’s startup and MSME ecosystems.
